Campaign Priorities
Last summer, all parishioners were invited to participate in a Planning Study Survey to determine the support for a campaign and to prioritize the following goals. We had a very strong level of response and participation during that survey. The results from those surveyed showed the parish prioritized the following goals in order from highest to lowest:
- Renovating existing spaces
- Creating secure, designed educational spaces for CCD and School students
- Adding a gym and commons area
- Adding sidewalks, a plaza; and a drop-off area
Overall improvements will be phased based upon the amount of funding St. Vincent de Paul raises during this capital campaign.
The current plan is to focus first on the renovation of the Church and administrative areas in the south and the classrooms for the School and CCD students in the north.
After that, depending upon the priority of needs and the amount of funds raised, the construction of a multi-use gym/performing arts center as well as other campus improvements are in our plans.
Many of our parish ministries currently do not have the space needed to do their work and evangelize others. Creating new educational spaces allows for the opportunity to transition existing educational spaces into functional spaces for parish use. Re-design and re-location of the educational space will provide a secure separation between educational and parish activities.
