Cor Jesu Rex

Cor Jesu Rex is a week-long catechetical program offered by the School Sisters of Christ the King of Lincoln, Nebraska,.  The motto of the School Sisters of Christ the King, “Ut Christus Regnet”, “That Christ May Reign,” expresses their mission of extending the Kingdom of Christ on earth, through the witness of their lives and through the apostolate of Catholic Education.
  • Mass each day
  • Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Benediction
  • Rosary
  • Opportunities for confession
  • Skits
  • Classes focusing on the topics of prayer and the sacraments

Students will learn when Jesus gave us each sacrament, what they involve and how they impact their life as followers of Christ. They will continue to build their relationship with Christ and His Church during Cor Jesu Rex this summer.

We have a 5 year curriculum based on the 4 pillars of the Catechism (Creed, Sacraments, Morality, Prayer) with an additional year on Salvation History.  We teach in 15 parishes both in the diocese and in South Dakota and Iowa.
